Trailside Kids

Trailside Kids — Guiding Kids to Follow Jesus on the Path of Faith

At Trailside Church, we believe our kids are our first mission field. Each week, we help children take their first steps on the trail of following Jesus. Our desire is that every child who walks through our doors hears and understands God’s Word, experiences His love, and grows in a safe, joy-filled environment. As they move through each stage of life, our prayer is that Jesus remains the foundation of their heart, mind, and soul—guiding them on the path He’s set before them.

Kid’s Church

1st–5th Grade | Trailside Kids

All 1st–5th graders are invited to take their next steps on the trail of faith! In this stage, kids begin to explore some of God’s deeper characteristics and ask meaningful questions about what it truly means to follow Christ. We’re thrilled to walk alongside you and your children on this exciting adventure of growing in faith together.

Each year, kids experience a full, Bible-based journey through both the Old and New Testaments. Our three-year curriculum helps students build a strong foundation in God’s Word — learning the stories, truths, and promises of Scripture in a way that’s engaging, memorable, and life-changing.

  • Pick-Up: Parents pick up their children from their classroom following the service.

Pre-K

Pre-K (36 Months – Kindergarten)

All children ages 36 months through Kindergarten are invited to take their next steps on the trail of faith! This is such a special season in a child’s life — a time when curiosity blossoms and their excitement to learn about who God is begins to grow. Here, kids are free to be silly, creative, and curious while starting to understand how God made the world and how everything points to His glory.

Each year, children experience a Bible-based journey through both the Old and New Testaments. Our two-year curriculum helps them begin to understand God’s character and the foundations of faith — such as grace, creation, sin, and obedience. These early lessons help prepare them for the next stage of life, giving them the tools to build their lives on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ.

Nursery

Nursery (0–36 Months)

All babies and toddlers ages 0–36 months are welcome in our Trailside Nursery — the place where their trail of faith begins. This stage of life is full of “firsts” — first words, first steps, and first experiences of the world around them. We’re honored to partner with you during this special season and grateful that some of your child’s first experiences can happen at church, surrounded by love and truth.

Our nursery provides a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where your little ones are loved and well cared for. During their time with us, children enjoy playtime, snacks, stories, songs, and maybe even a nap or two — all while beginning to experience the joy and peace of being part of our church family.
